What is a Spiritual Contract or Soul Contract? Can it be revoked?

A spiritual contract or soul contract is made together with your spirit guides before you incarnate or reincarnate. It is an agreement between you and your spirit guides on what needs to be learned in that lifetime, which family do you go to, which spouse do you marry and etc. These agreement are made before you incarnate or reincarnate.

Everyone has at least one spirit guides or many spirit guides who choose to follow you when you are born and always with you throughout your life. Sometimes your spirit guides may change depending on your level of understanding, what skills and knowledge you need to learn, what lessons they feel you need to learn and whether other spirit guides are more suitable for certain knowledge and skills to impart on you and etc.

As most of us do not remember what is the soul contract that we made before coming into the human form, it is easy to be confused or frustrated why things did not work out smoothly in relationships and in work and felt like turbulent waves on a rocky boat. And we ask where is God and where is my spirit guides. Do they exist? So if spirit guides are always with us, why is it we cannot feel the connection? Perhaps the question is how strong is our faith in God and the spirit guides and whether we have the ego getting in the way. Our spirit guides always want us to connect with them. They keep sending information to us in the form of signals, messages, images, sounds, voices, symbols, sensations, hints, frequencies and etc in a subtle manner. The gist is to let the ego aside and ask them a question for their advice and listen with a quiet and still mind without judging or without analysis. Trust the message within and let the information flow with ease. The energy must be positive. If the energy that comes through makes you feel negative or panicky, then that is not from your spirit guides.

In the internet, there are many people who claim they are awakened, more spiritually advanced or claim to know the falsehoods. I have read some of the claims to revoke the spiritual contract or to stop being a lightworker. Everyone has different beliefs and different levels of learning. So there is no judgement who is right or wrong. That is their belief system.

Just to share my perspective on these issues. As I mentioned above, the spiritual or soul contract is an agreement that we made before we come into human form in each lifetime. It is based on our free will to make these contract with our spirit guides without any compelling reasons. So why would you want to revoke the contract when you are now in human form without understanding the lessons that you had agreed to learn? Of course if you do wish to revoke or change the soul contract now, it is possible to change together with your spirit guides. After all, it is your free will. But will you be able to choose new parents or siblings now? You may be able to change spouse but it may not work out according to your ideal situation as that will also depend on the other party's soul contract.

For those who revoke from being a lightworker, it does not make sense to me. If one does not become a lightworker, does it mean becoming a darkworker? There are many different roles of lightworkers. Lightworkers can be keepers of sacred knowledge, protecting the grid of Mother Earth, healers, doctors in herbs and medicines, sharing knowledge, awakening people, fighting for causes and injustice, charitable work, helping those in need, spiritual teachers/ masters/ gurus, astral travellers and remote viewers and etc. There are countless ways. As long as you are from the Light and doing anything to help others, you are a Lightworker. So I'm quite baffled at those who claim to revoke being a lightworker especially those who posted in youtube saying so. What do they want to do then? Is it possible to advance spiritually without helping people? It may take ages. While it is not for me to judge their spiritual growth or development, the true nature of our soul is to love and help others like we love ourselves. By embracing our true essence, it will help our soul to grow and mature. It also took me a while to understand this point. One of the best example is the Buddha who renounced the world because he saw the sufferings of birth, old age and death and sought for solutions to help people to overcome this cycle of samsara. Out of compassion and selflessness, he let go of everything that he possessed and left his family, his wife and child for the greater good of humanity. He was determined to know the truth why life is suffering, what is the cause and how to cease suffering. His determination to help others and his self-realization and insight finally allows him to understand through Enlightenment and awakened to the true nature of everything. However, there are yet many levels of learning and creating even after the true Awakening. The learning journey has no end. Have fun on your own journey!
