We are Creative beings

Updated: May 23, 2020

We are fractals of the Divine Source, the Creator of all. Even as fractals, we hold the essence of the Source. So what are the essence of the Source? The Divine Source is awakened and aware of its presence. It is neither male nor female but embodying both masculine and feminine energies. It has infinite abilities because it loves to experiment, create and experience. It has unconditional love for all creations because of infinite compassion and loving kindness. So as fractals of the Source, we embody all these qualities in our consciousness but in our human experiences, we may have long forgotten who we are, what we can do or create after having gone through many lifetimes of trauma and negative experiences.

We are creative beings of infinite capabilities and potentials. Creativity can be expressed in many different forms using our sensory from visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, writing; audio creation such as music, instruments, vocal singing; movement creation such as dancing, drama, plays; Tasting such as culinary art; smell such as fragrance and essential oils to imagination and manifestation of what we want in our lives.

While I was doing some reading about finding what were my childhood dreams and what I was passionate about, I could not find any. I felt I was not really living fully as a child should. I don't even know what was my dream career or my aspirations. But recently I attended a meditation workshop or so I think. I was expecting it to be a typical meditation to clear the chakras and the mind of clutters. It was in fact initiated by my husband who was experiencing blockages in his solar plexus. So I thought it was more for him to attend. But I went along with him since the timing suited me fine. It turned out to be a dance experience.

Everyone in the meditation workshop was told to lie down on the floor and feel the energy going through from the left leg passing through the body to the right leg; and vice versa. Then from left palm passing through the body to the right palm. Then finally to follow the natural waves of energy within the body to create our own waves and to feel every cell, every organ, every parts of our body. After that we are told to feel and express our gratitude to a certain part of the body or organ. We are also told to put our hands to feel that part of the body or organ to massage or touch it. I felt a sense of hollowness in my heart so I expressed my gratitude to my heart for being healthy and giving me a healthy body. And as I do so, I put my hand on my heart and solar plexus which is the usual position that I would do for a quick reiki treat. My tears began to roll and I realize I found my heart space; my soul that longs to connect with me. The instructor then guided us to dance when we feel like doing so and let us move freely as we wish. Many of us were still lying down comfortably and slowly one by one, we start to sit up or stand at our own pace.

While I was still lying down on the floor, my mind started to imagine the dance moves of a ballet dancer even though I did not go for any ballet training. As a child I wanted to learn ballet but my body was rather stiff and inflexible and I was never really into gymnastics. So I shoved that thought aside. But during my schooling days, I did perform dances in traditional and modern dances on stage in school performances. That part of my past was triggered in this workshop. When I saw others who got up to dance, I finally plucked up enough courage to sit up and I cried when I did just that. Then I began to dance in my own rhythm and movement and feel as if I am embodying and reaching the universe and mother earth. I stretched myself as far as I can in different directions, left to right, front to back and moving like waves of energy into infinite space. And as the instructor told us to end the dance in our own ways, I was led to merge the universe and mother earth as one within my heart space. My tears to roll uncontrollably as my palms join together in prayer position. Then my thoughts go to opening up that energy into infinite space again like the Creator of all. Energy is always changing, moving, resting and then moving again because everything is impermanent. It is quite an amazing experience. But everyone will experience it differently within their mind and soul. There was not any form of explanations what this workshop is about. I guess it's really what we can take out from the experience that we had.

My intuition tells me the dance is for me to know that I love to dance, to move out of my comfort zone, without fear of being judged by others, to create my own movement, things or paths without having to follow anyone, to express what my soul wants to say through movement and feeling, to be present in my body, mind and spirit, to remember the Buddhisattva that I am in my past life, to remember that I am a master, to remember that I am confident. I am so grateful for this experience. Thank you universe, thank you spirit guides and angels for guiding us to this wonderful experience! I love you all.
