Learning Human Design and Gene Keys

Learning Human Design and Gene Keys is what I would call it as going into another rabbit hole. For those who are new to i-ching or metaphysics, it is going to be overwhelming to understand at first. I don't profess to be a professional reader of Human Design and Gene Keys. In the beginning, I was also struggling to understand this entire system. At one point I had dropped this subject totally. But somehow something draws me back to this material and then, I slowly started to understand. It has to be understood step by step and gradually overtime. Certain things cannot be rushed. I actually learn this system in an intuitive way and whatever information that I can gather from the internet as well as some of the ebooks available. I did not take up their course (yet) and somehow I understood at least the intellectual part. The full course available currently are quite pricey to say the least. As a 4/1 Opportunistic Investigator, I tend to investigate things on my own before jumping in and sharing this information. I will only share when I have done a fair bit of research and verifying with my own personal experiences. For me, I am a very DIY person although I will also search for reliable sources.

Human Design is a more masculine, mechanical way of interpreting the psyche that incorporates i-ching, astrology, chakra system and kabbalah. This system is founded by Ra Uru Hu who was given this material through "The Voice".

Gene Keys is founded by Richard Rudd who was a student of Ra Uru Hu. He created Gene Keys after learning Human Design. As Richard is an philosophical author, his lingo is more poetic and feminine in nature.

If anyone wants to learn about this system, I would recommend taking one step at a time. These are the steps that I would highly suggest so that you can understand the terminologies at a more digestible rate.

Step 3 - Understand what is your Authority type

Step 7 - Understand the 9 nine centers, what Defined Centers, Undefined Centers and Open Centers mean and where these centers are in your chart which shows the areas that you are conditioned. It also shows where you can claim back your power.

Step 8 - Understand the Activated Gates

Step 11 - If you feel ambitious or curious enough to explore further, you can learn about Gene Keys which is about embodiment of the archetypal energies, becoming more aware of your shadows, activating your gifts and Siddhis of your Genius, Love, Prosperity sequences.

Step 12 - Understand the codon rings and human fractals

As you can see that all these information can be overwhelming as a start for beginners and this is why readings using this system can be very pricey because this is deep stuff. There is also a tendency to jump into the most juicy stuffs especially the money-making part! But please don't jump right in like that. Without working through your shadows and activating your gifts, you are going to project a lot of negative emotions and will only end up in frustration when things don't manifest or work out for you.

The most common mistake for most people is the majority of the population are Generators or Manifesting Generators who operate like Manifestors which is using the wrong strategy. So they will find difficulty in getting responses and end up with rejections and long periods of waiting. Generators and Manifesting Generators are here to wait for response. They are not here to initiate or manifest. So when I see a lot of coaches trying to find sales leads, teaching people how to create content, how to strategize through taking up their courses, I am like wtf. This will only end up in frustrations and bursting pockets of newbies trying to learn how to market themselves. Manifestors are rare; they are here to initiate the world and take action. Generators are the life force on earth. Generators wait for others to invite them or to ask them questions or for advice. So Generators are here to learn about Beingness and how to trust the universe. It takes a lot of patience and faith to learn that. Manifestors are here to inform others so they have a lot of wisdom and information to share. If we operate correctly, we will feel more peace (Manifestors) and satisfaction (Generators) in life.

To be honest, these materials are fascinating because it helps one to understand more about why we behave the way we do, where we are susceptible for external conditionings and how we can embody our authentic self. But on the other hand, I must warn people not to overindulge into readings. It is good to know through readings but it is equally important to meditate upon the readings to see if it resonated. Fundamentally we need to understand that readings are a guide. Whether your consciousness is ready to comprehend or realize certain truths about yourself is another matter. The ultimate aim is to have Self-Realization. We have to go through certain life experiences in order to realize some lessons that will prove to be valuable when we look back.

I also realize that why certain people come into my path because of our overhanging gates, codon rings and common gates that we share. Being gate 38 as my life's work and brand which represents the Spiritual Warrior of Light, I tend to attract either warriors or disempowered empaths. Not everyone will cross our path. Those who do are most likely from our human fractals / soul groups. There will be people who come for a reason or come for a season.
