Card 1 - Let Go

What, if anything, can be done to let go of what is standing in your way?

This is any indication that we should no longer concern ourselves with the matter in question because holding onto it or fighting to keep it from happening will not be productive. Are you holding onto friends, lovers, belief systems, techniques or equipment that have ceased to be useful. Letting others become responsible for themselves or saying goodbye is never easy but is sometimes necessary and inevitable. It is understandable but unrealistic to want things to continue in a certain way without end. We use so much energy trying to hold on but at a certain point, letting go of the past allows us to get a grip on the future.

Card 2 - Originality

Feel lighthearted and free while trusting that your unique way of doing things is the right way.

This is an indication that you must remian strong and steadfast in defending your original way of doing things from all criticism, including yourself. Original, authentic people have never encountered anyone like themselves so they cannot expect other people to understand them right away or ever. It is not necessary to rebel against traditional tried and true ways in order to be original or unique. Being original would be to seek to understand your attitudes and tastes by drawing the totality of your being including the old school methods and ideas you admire. Avoid self-censorship. Stir things up. Incorporate visionary thinking and ingenuity. Be a little rebellious. Find new ways to express yourself. Think, say and do what you want without fear of embarrassment, contradiction or rocking the boat.
