Saturn Retrograde - Living as a Generator and Deconditioning

Saturn Retrograde has started from 5 June 2022 that will last till 22/23 October 2022. During this period, things will start to slow down. So it is a time to take stock of things in our lives. There will be times you will look back at the past, your relationship patterns, finances, career path, making decisions on how to move forward. But this is not a period to make rush decisions. Saturn Retrograde is a great time to slow down, de-condition from your programmings and get serious on what is more important. Saturn is about structures, discipline and organizing things, keeping life in order. It is a slowing moving planet. Karma may come bite back at you if you don't take the time to take care of things. So don't rush into things or making major decisions or overcommit about work, relationships, finances etc. Karma Retrograde is also about unlearned lessons and revisiting those unlearned lessons.

The majority of the human population are Generators, in Human Design term. Generators are the life force on earth. You will see a lot of problems on earth because of Generators living in not-self. We are actually creating problems without knowing.

What is the problem with Generators living in their not-self? The Not-Self themes are the white centers in your Human Design bodygraph.

1) Generators made up the population of the working classes in the world. They are the life force on earth. They are the doers but they are not designed to do any and every kind of work.

2) When Generators do not enjoy their work by choosing a job that they do not love, they get frustrated.

3) When Generators behave like Manifestors who initiate projects, they get rejected and therefore, they get frustrated. Generators in their not-self, chase after things instead of attracting things. They get hungry, needy and desperate.

4) Generators are here to respond to others when asked. They are not here to initiate or chase after others.

5) When Generators offer their unsolicited advice, they might get rejection.

6) Generators will feel unacknowledged, unrecognized, unseen, unheard when they are not aware of their undefined centers or open to the conditionings of the open Throat Center. They try to attract others' attention but to no avail. So they get frustrated and rejected.

7) Generators will rush into making decisions or jump into projects without seeking for internal guidance from their inner authority. Sometimes end up burning their energies into fatigue, financial resources, time, creating stress, compromising their health, making wrong decisions, not getting any result or experiencing failure.

8) Generators with open or undefined Root Center like to multi-task because they know they have lots of energies for doing a lot of different things simultaneously. They also feel immense pressure to get things done so that they can lift the pressure off.

But at the end of the day, they may get drained and tired. And then question, where are they really going in life? What is the meaning of all these? What do they really want? What do they really hope to achieve? This is especially so when they have an open G-Center. An open G-Center will generally feel lost in life, having no sense of direction; they don't know who they really are and what they are here to do.

9) Generators feel a lack of abundance and lack mentality. Lack mentality is derived from a lack of self-worth and lack of faith especially when they have open or undefined Heart Center and open Head Center. They think about things that don't really matter and cloud their mind with other people's problems or questions. Those with activated fear gates will also feel a lack in life.

10) Generators don't stop to relax enough. They are here to be themselves. The Art of Being. The art of non-doing. The Being nature is attractive and receptive.

It does not mean that Generators do absolutely nothing and wait for the sky to drop. I am a generator myself. If I do absolutely nothing, I wouldn't even write my blogs and offer my services. Haha.......

There are a couple of things to get clear if you are still very new to Human Design. This is why most people do not manifest what they want or need because they do not understand their role and how to manifest correctly based on their design. You will see a lot of sales people and marketers in social media trying to sell their programs to people and when people use their strategies, they don't really work. I will tell you the secrets. Haha.

If you observe enough to look at the way they create their content to entice people.....They will write it in such a way that can be very lengthy, that goes step by step creating a hype and excitement which keeps you reading on and on and on until it gets juicier. Then at the last part, they will get you to sign up their courses without offering any free advice. There is no way of knowing if they really know their stuff. It seems like they know because they put out your questions. They know what you are after. They know what the market is desperate for. Haha.

I tell you another secret. The secret to marketing is to combine sales strategies with human design. This is where marketers don't know something so precious or maybe they know but they don't really share their trade secrets with anyone!

The third secret of sales people is to use strategies to get people hooked like drug addicts.

So you can see that sales people make millions and billions of dollars out of ignorant people. They want to keep people dumbed down. That is also how billionaires and elites make money out of dumb people. They sell distractions, style, things that are not important. Basically, making money is a not-self concept. Your true self or Spirit is not interested in making money. It is for the ego or lower self. But Spirit is always in Abundance. People feel a lack of abundance because they are not in alignment and connection with their Spirit. The moment when we feel disconnected with Spirit / God / Source / Universe, you name it, this sense of separation will feel like suffering.

The Universe is always sending love and abundance to every person, every being, to nature, to every part of the world in every moment. Do you realize it? If you don't realize it, just stop everything now and breathe. Breathe in the breath of life. The air is abundant. The oxygen is abundant because it circulates in nature.

Now touch your heart with your fingers and smile to your heart. Feel the warmth and vibration of every single heart beat. Listen to your heart as you breath. Dom dom dom dom........Do you feel the connection? If you are sensitive, you will feel touched by your own heart because it is Spirit you are connecting to. If you don't feel anything at this moment as you touch your heart, it is ok. Keep smiling. Think about the times when you feel happy. Think about someone you love or something that brings back happy memories. It will help you to smile more naturally. Now go deeper and imagine smiling to every being, every person, every animal everywhere, in every place, every country, every continent, every part of the world, every dimension, every existences, every universes. Do you feel the connection? If you feel difficulty in this practice, do it outdoors in nature. You will feel a whole lot of difference. This is a very simple "exercise" to feel the connection.

If you don't feel the connection, it means you have to practice because most people are out of touch with nature and with their own heart. The society is too driven in the intellectual pursuits that people lost touch with their emotions and feelings. Make use of this period of Saturn Retrograde to set a routine for this practice to be in touch with yourselves again.

How to live as Generators correctly?

1) Generators need to learn to wait for other people to ask questions or ask for advice. Learn to listen first. If you are an introvert like me, go to social media to connect with people. Join communities and see what are the questions they ask, what are the repeated questions or concerns of people. Use those questions to formulate your strategies on what you can offer. Create a platform where you can offer your services or whatever that you wish to bring. Simply present yourself in that platform and wait for people to respond. People will respond if they resonate with you. You are not there for everyone.

There are people who are Influencers whom can create lots millions of followers and likes. I am sure they have a different human design or maybe they are faking a persona. Possibly a Manifestor or Manifesting Generator. But there is nothing wrong with Generators. We just play a different role. Embrace your unique design!

2) Generators need to learn to go with the flow, not to resist or fight. Learn to accept things that cannot be changed. Learning to accept and embrace differences requires wisdom and an open heart. We are not here to change the world. We are here to be the change. We are not changing ourselves; we are changing our mindset; we are de-conditioning from the not-self and removing layers that are not us. These layers are limiting us.

3) Generators in their naturalness attract what they need. They already have what they need. Why is it that they don't see what they already have? Because they place too much external focus on what others have instead of focusing on what they already have themselves. People are always trying to fill up the gaps on what is missing. When people feel that they are incomplete or something missing, it means a lack of self-worth and self-esteem. It does not matter how much money you already have. People will still keep on chasing for money or love even when they make more money or in relationships. They are trying to fill up the void in their hearts. But the Great Void is calling out and waiting for us to reconnect back. Our cosmic parent calling and waiting patiently for us to come home in union, within the heart. Here in the Great Void, you are whole and complete. You are already provided for with everything that you need. You are enough.

It is very strange for Generators to feel they are not enough when they have defined sacral center. I see this in many Generators who feel the lack mainly from the open heart center where they have to prove their self-worth to the world in their not-self. Generators with an open root center can also go all the way to push through their projects because they feel the pressure to complete their tasks.

4) Do you think meditation and deep breathing is something unproductive? I know a lot of people don't meditate because they find they don't have enough time. They believe they can't meditate because their mind is always busy. Yes, they are the generators and manifesting generators. But I always like to debunk their myths. Haha.

Myth #1 - Meditation is unproductive.

People don't meditate because they spend most of the time thinking that work brings them the money because it is productive. Time is money. Meditation is not productive because it does not bring them money or so they think!

Actually when we meditate, we get more clarity of the mind of what we really want or not want in life. When we manifest, we have to be clear on what we want. When our mind is not clear, the manifestation does not work at all. In fact, it causes a block in life when the mind is cloudy.

Myth #2 - I cannot meditate because my mind cannot be quiet

You don't meditate because your mind is quiet. You need to meditate because your mind is always busy! The mind cannot be quiet because you allow your mind to control you. In meditation, the purpose is to be aware of your thoughts but not to focus on those thoughts because thoughts are transitory. They come and go like clouds in the sky. If you attach to the thoughts, the thoughts own you. If you detach from the thoughts, you are in control.

Meditation is important for Generators because it helps us to get in touch with our inner self. Most people are outward-focused that they do not listen to their body's response. The body can respond to us when we ask questions. There are 2 main types of inner authority for Generators - Sacral Authority and Emotional Authority.

* Sacral Authority will either give sound responses from the sacral with uh-huh indicating Yes or uh-uh indicating No. Some will get it in terms of contracting or expanding.

* Emotional Authority will receive answers differently. They do not have answers in the current now moment. They have to reach emotional clarity first, when their emotions are calm. They cannot make decisions based on what they are excited about or jump in the band wagon on the spur of the moment.

5) When you feel frustrated, you are not using your energies correctly. How are you spending your time? Evaluate what kind of jobs and tasks make you feel frustrated? Are you trying to force things to happen in those instances? Are you spending enough time on your hobbies that will bring you joy?

6) Learn how to decondition yourself.
