Twin Flame, Soul Mate and Love

Love can be a difficult topic to talk about especially when one had been hurt several times in life. It's interesting that I saw someone posted about the reverse spelling of Love. Love in reversed spelling is Evol which is Evolution in abbreviation. Indeed Love helps us in our evolution. What else. Our closest relationships trigger our wounds like hell. Whatever pain that we feel is an opportunity for us to heal. Is pain necessary for our evolution? Yes and no. Without pain, we don't know what we value the most. Without sorrow, we don't understand what is happiness. I am not perpetuating the abusers' behaviors. Abusers most likely have their own pain which led them to do what they are doing. Everyone has their own story of pain. It is not necessary to have pain because we can choose to let go of the suffering. Anything can cause pain if we take things personally.

Everyone wants to love and be loved. So in the Twin Flame community, there will be a lot of people talking about chasers and runners. I want to address this toxic topic that is so common.

Everybody wants to be with their Twin Flame. Everybody wants to know when their Twin Flame is coming back. Some will ask if they are their Twin Flame. It's all the usual questions. Why I know? Because I've been there, done that. Yeah, the joke out of my topic is sometimes I laugh at myself, the old me. Haha.

It's ok to ask these questions. But after a while, it gets clearer. If someone whom you believe is your Twin Flame, you have to ask a few more questions.

1) Does your supposedly Twin Flame really love you?

- A true Twin Flame loves you unconditionally whether as a friend or romantic partner. He or she will not deliberately hurt you and even if he or she did, your twin will apologize through actions. Your twin's ego may still get in the way. But you have to recognize their apologies through their actions.

2) If your Twin Flame chooses to marry another person, do you wait for him or her?

- No. Since they already made that choice, move on. Don't hang on for the fruit to drop from the tree. Focus on loving yourself first. Focus on your life purpose. Your life purpose is not merely to find love. Love will find you when you are focused on loving and caring for yourself. This is the Law of Attraction. I know this because I've made several mistakes waiting for Mr Right when I was younger. Please don't wait for Mr Right or Miss Right. Be Mr Right or Miss Right yourself first. If you want love, be Love. You don't attract a better person than you are. You attract who you are or your opposite.

3) Can your Twin Flame love you and another person at the same time?

- No. If your supposedly Twin Flame tells you that, please walk away. This is a two-timer who can't decide who they truly love and will end up hurting two people.

4) Is your Twin Flame necessarily a romantic partner?

- No. Your Twin Flame can be a friend, a confidante or of an the same gender. A twin flame is not necessarily focused on romantic relationship. It's more about the mission they are carrying out on earth.

5) Why does a Twin Flame run away from the relationship?

- It can be indicative of two things:

* The Chaser is feeling needy and insecured in the relationship. So the other party runs away from the relationship because they want to break free from being tied down.

* The party that runs away has a fear of commitment. This person may feel the partner is not right for them.

In both perspectives of the chaser and runner, they both need to heal their inner child or shadows of insecurity and neediness and the fear of commitment and responsibility.

6) Twin Flame relationship can be challenging. Are you prepared to meet this challenge?

7) Is Twin Flame my other half of me?

- No. Your soul is whole and complete. You don't need to join with another soul or twin to feel complete.

I also want to point out that not every relationship is a twin flame relationship. A lot of people mistake their partner as twin flame because they want to think they are. I am sorry that I have to burst the bubbles of fantasies. We like to fantasize the person we love as a twin flame but most of the time, they are actually not. Our Twin Flame will not unite with us until we have done our inner work or work on our shadows. Most people are in karmic relationship or in soul mate relationship or both. Real twin flame unions are rare. Some might not meet their twin flame in this lifetime. And that is ok. We can still be with our soul mate or life partner. They are still in our soul fractal. We don't need our twin flames to complete us. The Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine is all within us. It's more important to be in union within yourself.

These labels of twin flame, soul mate, life partner, karmic partner can be confusing because it can be a combination of some of these. It does not mean that you have to be with your twin flame if your twin flame is hurting you. Any relationship can be as challenging. Twin Flame does not mean it's all sweetness and easy. The definition of Twin Flame and Soul Mate can be quite blurry. Some people say that Soul Mate relationships are easier. It depends on individual's experiences with their relationships. Whoever that you are with, it is an opportunity to learn and grow. Karmic relationships are the toughest because they will push your buttons the most but the rewards are also immensely great. You will see your own transformation from karmic relationships.

Whenever you find yourself in challenging relationships or situations, the most simple way is to do the Ho'oponopono:

I know for singles, it can be tough especially when people around you can make you feel pressurized or judge you for not being attached. Sharing from my own experience, don't feel pressurized. When you focus on yourself, the right one will appear out of nowhere when you least expect it. This again, boils down to how you manifest properly.

In the past, I don't even know the heck about law of attraction, manifestation or spirituality. I was not even spiritual then. But looking back, I figured things out now why things happened the way they did. When singles are desperate for a relationship, wanting love, this neediness will repel people away whether they are our twin or soulmate or karmic. It will simply attract those who are emotionally unavailable; meaning that they are not the type who are serious on a committed relationship. When we start to heal our inner wounds and focus on self-love and self-care, our focus becomes inwards and not outwards. So there is no expectations of outcome. This is when manifestation happens - when expectations of the outcome are removed. This is the most important part. When we have expectations of the outcome, we keep hanging on without trusting the universe. There is a string attached. The moment we let go, the universe can then do its miracle. It is as simple as that. I wish I know this much much earlier to save all that time waiting and all that heart breaks. Haha. But a lot of things also depends on divine timing, if both parties are ready.
